Harvest Family Church (HFC) is the church I attend when in the States, and is the main sending congregation of my ministry. They have faithfully supported my missions work since the beginning in 1998. But more than that, this church really is my family. Pastor Chuck and Mrs. Tammy are my spiritual parents, and many folks in the congregation are as close to me as any of my siblings.
I can’t tell you how many times someone from the church has written me a letter or given my parents a message to give to me, encouraging me and telling me how proud of me they are. Words can’t describe the difference this makes for a missionary. When you know that you’ve got a team back home that are your biggest fans, your biggest cheerleaders, that makes it so much easier to stay. These people care for me.
I almost tear up thinking how much I’m loved at this church. People need that; they need that kind of spiritual family, that kind of emotional support. I’ve been a member here for the vast majority of my life, so I can honestly recommend that, if you’re searching for a church home in the Jackson area, give this one a shot. You might find it’s just the place you’ve been looking for.
