An Eyeful of Cuteness

Scene from March of the Penguins of three baby penguins flapping their wings

I’ve got my fill of cute for at least a week or so. I just got through watching National Geographic’s March of the Penguins on Hallmark. I never knew the basic struggle to survive that these animals go through. And I was quite impressed with the effort the cinematographers put forth to produce this movie. I can’t imagine the personal sacrifice they made to get these shots, and over the course of thirteen months in one of the most inhospitable climes on Earth. March of the Penguins is great for a group of friends. But don’t forget your tissue; some parts are kind of sad.

I have heard such praise for this film. Thank you so much for the rec.
Sharla is doing wonderful, Jonathan. God’s favor is on her in such an awesome way! We got a call from her just last week, and She’s getting Embassy duty in Washington DC. That is the highest honor! Please keep her in your prayers, I’m sure you’ve heard what military life is like. I don’t want her to get caught up in what everyone else my be doing!

That’s so awesome! I’m glad to hear she’s doing great. My brother-in-law is in the Air Force and was stationed in D.C. for a few years; he really enjoyed it there, expecially getting to see the President fly out!
