Unsympathetic

Unsympathetic screen capture

I found the link to this blog on the WordPress IRC channel while chatting with fellow bloggers, and was immediately sucked in. I love English majors, because their writing is not at all as boring as English class. Perhaps they use their blogs to let out all that creativity. But whatever the reason, Lisa’s blog is a great read. She possesses that characteristic “English Major” style, a writing quality that is magnetic, regardless of subject. And she is unapologetic (should I say “unsympathetic?”) about her beliefs, hanging them out for you to love or hate. I dig that kind of forward writing.

thanks for the write-up :) i’m glad there is someone else out there who loves english majors. i love talking to my classmates as long as we’re not discussing classwork, because everything is so interesting to us, while other people don’t think about the relationship between reading and the world like we do. i hope to see you around more often :)
