What’s a confession? I’m not talking about a Catholic sitting down with his priest and telling him all he’s done wrong. Confession is anything we say with our mouth, right? I’ve just finished reading a book by “Brother Yun” (Liu Zhenying) entitled The Heavenly Man. It is a story of hardship, trial, affliction, persecution, suffering … all for the cause of Christ. Beginning near the end of his story, and then going back all the way to the initial introduction of the Gospel to modern-day China, Yun describes in vivid detail how his own life has been riddled with torture at the hand of the Chinese government. It is a story you won’t soon forget.
