WordPress Bug Hunt

There’s a 24-Hour bug hunt starting next week for the upcoming 2.0.4 and 2.1 releases of WP. If you’ve got a spare subdomain lying around, the run starts on Wednesday the 5th at 2:00 AM CDT (GMT -05:00) and goes to Thursday the 6th at 2:00 AM CDT. You don’t have to be an ultra-geek to do this, either. According to the Dev Blog, All you need to help out is the ability to install and run WordPress, folks of all skill levels are invited to join. We need people testing as much as we need people coding. (If not a little more.) I strongly encourage you to help out; I will be. For more information about getting started, go to the WordPress Bug Hunts page. I’ve got a spare subdomain not doing anything, and I really don’t have anything better to do with my time. After all, the more secure and advanced our blogging platform, the better it is for all of us.

Unfortunately, my database is fried right now. I’m actively working to resolve this, and will re-open comments when it’s all ironed out. For now, if you have something you’d like to say, drop me a line via E-Mail.
