Filling the air with the sweet smell of Thailand
20 February 2010, 09:00All over Thailand you’ll find clay pots filled with water and Lotus blossoms. This flower is very special here, ranking among the Orchid. On a visit to Mae Chan with Ning, I found these two straddling a door to a shop.

I was fascinated with the sight of these plants everywhere. I especially loved the wide variety of color that could be found among the blossoms. I think this flower, along with elephants and rice paddies, is one of the iconic scenes one expects when he dreams of Thailand.
