Maeap Gas Station

Neither one looks like fuel

Don’t run out of gas in Maeap, or you’ll be forced to either push your car to Chiang Saen (ten kilometers over hills), or use this place. I don’t know how well this stuff burns, but I hear it’s not so good on your engine. But this is better than what I found in Tachileik, Burma. There, you buy gas on the side of the road in Coke bottles.
