Actually, "No one who has recently eaten Durian allowed"
6 January 2010, 09:00While I was in Chiang Saen, I decided to visit the dentist and get some work done that was long-overdue. And since one of Patti’s kids needed to go to the doctor anyway, we decided to pile into the truck and make a day out of it in the big city.
The hospital in Chiang Rai we went to is called Overbrook, and it was founded by missionaries in 1903. It’s a very nice facility, and it was here that we found the above sign. That sign means you’re not allowed to enter the hospital if you’ve been eating Durian. Told you that stuff is rank.
