The neat thing about Thailand is there are no real copyright laws to speak of, so you can jack a company’s trademarks wholesale and nobody cares. My first time to Bangkok they gave us Oakley backpacks to carry all our stuff around in, because they only cost about 50ยข each. I nearly bought a pair of Nike jeans on this trip, but didn’t because I couldn’t find the room to pack them for the trip home. What’s the point in trying to build your own brand reputation when you can just use one that’s already known worldwide?
