A real blessing in Mae Sai
6 March 2010, 09:00I was fortunate to be in a town that had a real grocery store, so I didn’t have to rely on the market if I didn’t want to. Tesco Lotus is a chain owned by a company from the UK, and is very similar to a Walmart Supercenter.
I spent a lot of time at this store, because they also have a KFC restaurant and a great Chinese restaurant. Plus there are street food vendors at the front door. But driving in this evening on Joey‘s scooter, the sunset behind the store left me in awe. It was actually quite a bit prettier than what I was able to capture.
