Making hearts of gold and buns of steel all at the same time
19 January 2010, 09:00Mae Salong is very hilly, to say the least. And you’ll regularly find yourself climbing very steep inclines to reach an everyday destination, like 7-Eleven or something. This is the hill I had to climb each day to get to Mrs. Wong’s church. It’s actually much longer than this, but I took the picture from this spot because I could get the church in the shot. Between these hills and a diet of fish and rice, it’s no wonder I lost twenty pounds on this trip!
