And it's not alone
10 January 2010, 09:00In Northern Thailand, most folks are farmers. And there’s a gamut of vehicles and tools to help them get the job done. This is one of them. It has a tiny, one-cylinder engine on the front, and no muffler. It barely pulls its own weight, yet manages to haul well over the manufacturer’s specs almost constantly. And they drive them everywhere. At all hours of the day. Everywhere. They’re like, a swarm, of angry, gnawing locust, chewing on your last nerve until there’s nothing left but death and destitution, a barren wasteland of what once was. Just like that, only louder.
